Situated on the amazing Fraser Coast, Hervey Bay is a bustling coastal town bordered by pristine sandy beaches and calm waters.The gateway to World Heritage listed Fraser Island and the Great Barrier Reef’s Lady Elliot Island, Hervey Bay is also known as the ‘Whale Watching Capital of Australia’. Between July and November, the mighty Humpback Whales arrive on their annual migration, with Hervey Bay’s protected waters becoming their playground.
Hervey Bay offers an abundance of water based activities with the beach being ideal for swimming, sailing, fishing, diving, sea kayaking and water skiing.
